Crock Pot Baked Apples Recipe, With Orange Juice, Cinnamon, And Brown Sugar.
6 large cooking apples
3/4 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
3/4 cup blush wine or cranberry-apple juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup light brown sugar
Remove cores from apples and place in crock pot. In a small bowl, combine orange juice, grated orange peel, grated lemon peel, wine or juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Pour over apples. Cover crock pot and cook on low for about 3 1/2 hours, or until apples are tender. Cool slightly and serve with whipped cream.
